The Wolves can head into their week-long All-Star break with a better taste in their mouths if they play a lot better against the Trail Blazers. Their 113-83 loss at San Antonio Monday featured the sixth-most points they've allowed this season and their fifth-fewest scored. . . . Terrell Brandon had his sore left knee examined Tuesday and did not practice. He is considered doubtful for this one, meaning Chauncey Billups will start at point guard and Felipe Lopez might see extended minutes. . . . The Wolves have won six of the past seven against Portland, including a 95-93 victory at the Rose Garden on Dec. 30. Kevin Garnett and Wally Szczerbiak each scored 27 that night. . . . In addition to being televised on FSN, the game also will be carried on TNT, the Wolves' first national TV appearance this season, but it will be blacked out within 40 miles of the Twin Cities.

And Wolfbite get his first Wolves match televised in Australia, thank god for that.
