The numbers fairly leap off the page.

Offensive rebounds: Washington 22, Toronto 3.

Second chance points: Washington 27, Toronto: 2.

Final score: Washington 99, Toronto 94.

Anyone surprised? Didn't think so.

On a night when weariness made the legs a little heavy and the shots a little short and the intensity just a little off, the Raptors simply couldn't duplicate the effort of a night earlier in Philadelphia.

"Early in the game, we gave them way too many second and third shots and we should have put them away," said coach Lenny Wilkens. "Everyone has to rebound and tonight we didn't do it."

Everybody? How about nobody, at least on this night.
