As eager as the Timberwolves might be to get away, physically and mentally, from the recent downturn in their fortunes, the NBA All-Star break won't be devoted entirely to blackjack tables, lounge chairs, umbrella drinks or even "honey do" lists.

At least not if coach Flip Saunders has his way. The Wolves have a week between games this season, their longest All-Star break in four years. But Saunders doesn't expect too many bad habits to emerge.

"They need to do some things on their own," Saunders said. "With players, I always say, when you give them time off, what they usually do, they want to go play. The season ends and they want to go play in the gym. That's just their nature.
