Antonio McDyess will play tonight if the decision is left up to him.
The Denver Nuggets return to action against the Boston Celtics at the Pepsi Center (7, Fox Sports Net) in their first game in a week because of the All-Star break.
The problem is trainer Jim Gillen and the Nuggets' brain trust are in no hurry to rush him back to action, and the decision likely will be made by them, not McDyess.
"I'll play, to be honest, if it was my decision," McDyess said. "I think the doctors in the organization are a little more cautious."
