Friday, February 15, 2002 - MEMPHIS, Tenn. - As several Denver Nuggets practiced jumpers during Thursday morning's shootaround at the Pyramid, Nick Van Exel watched with his arms crossed.

Van Exel missed Thursday night's game against Memphis and may miss the three remaining contests on this four-game trip because of inflammation in his left elbow. The fourth-year Nugget was listed as day to day, but coach Mike Evans said, "We're not counting on it this trip."
