A day after one of its wackiest wins ever, the Heat was no more sympathetic to the Milwaukee Bucks than on Friday night.
The Bucks dropped a 90-88 contest to the Heat mostly because of a blown call that allowed Miami to win in overtime. Guard Eddie Jones' double-dribble went uncalled with the game clock winding down, even though it was committed in plain view of the officials and 18,717 furious fans at the Bradley Center.
Jones' gaffe, if called, would likely have ended the game as the Heat trailed by three. Instead, Miami retained possession, Jim Jackson nailed a three at the buzzer to tie seconds later, and the Heat won in overtime.
Saturday, the Heat's attitude had not changed: A win is a win.
''When we were 5-23, we weren't getting those bounces,'' center Alonzo Mourning said. ``Now the tables are turned and we're getting the calls, getting the bounces.''
Said coach Pat Riley: ``A bad call or a blown call? Hey, I've been through it.''
? Guard Eddie House did not participate in Saturday's practice at the Target Center and was to undergo an MRI on his strained right knee, suffered in Friday's game. Riley said he would wait until the results of the exam to determine whether he would consider activating guard Anthony Carter, who says he is ready to return after hernia surgery.
? Jones had seven steals against Milwaukee, two short of his career high.
