If Pistons Coach Rick Carlisle had his way, Toronto would have hung on and beaten Milwaukee on Sunday.
Not only because it would have put the Pistons in a tie for first place in the Eastern Conference, but also because the last thing Carlisle wanted was for the Raptors to come into The Palace tonight on a four-game losing streak.
But that's what happened. The Raptors, playing without injured players Vince Carter (quad), Jerome Williams (ankle) and Hakeem Olajuwon (quad), will be trying to avoid a season-worst five-game losing streak.
"That's bad," Carlisle said. "It's a very dangerous situation. We have to respect every opponent we play. If we don't come out and play aggressive, hard-nosed defense and we don't have a strong disposition, we are in danger of losing to anybody."
