Backup power forward Gary Trent and the Timberwolves had to adjust their calendars again Tuesday when an MRI exam revealed enough trauma in Trent's left hamstring to push his return back another week.

Trent, who hasn't played since Feb. 6, still is bothered by a left hamstring strain. So instead of playing sometime on this four-game trip -- the plan as recently as Monday -- Trent won't be available until next week at the earliest.

"He's still got a little tenderness," Wolves coach Flip Saunders said. "Until he's pretty much pain-free. . . we'll re-evaluate in another week."
