Maybe Denver Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe had the right idea after all. Why bring Antonio McDyess back for his first action of the season against Utah, when you can build his confidence with a dose of the Memphis Grizzlies?
McDyess came off the injured list Sunday, 140 days after having surgery on both knees and 329 days after he last played in an NBA basketball game. He started at center for the Nuggets against Memphis on Friday at the Pepsi Center, hoping to put an end to the Nuggets' six-game losing streak and three-game skid at home.
