The Indianapolis Star is reporting that both Isiah Thomas and Reggie Miller have some choice words for the NBA and the phantom fighter, Kobe Bryant.

Thomas said he was "shocked and appalled" to learn Sunday that Miller had been suspended for two games and fined $10,000 for his part in the postgame melee with Bryant after the Pacers lost to the Lakers in Los Angeles on Friday.

As for Miller, he makes extremely cryptic remarks about why Kobe snapped.

"I am extremely disappointed in the league's decision rendered today," Miller said in a prepared statement. "I was confident the league, after reviewing the tape and interviewing those involved, would see it was clear that I was neither the instigator nor the aggressor in this incident. Kobe has other issues he has to deal with, this had nothing to do with me or the basketball game played on Friday evening."

Perhaps Miller is referring to the recent Kobe whiffle incident with Samaki Walker on the team bus.

The LA Times chimes in with a picture of a Kobe on the edge in yet another article and Phil Jackson seems none too pleased with Bryant's poor imitations of Roy Jones Jr.

Perhaps Kobe's new bride should take back that Italian expresso machine they got as a wedding gift before he snaps at Shaq.
