The Hawks have applied for a roster exception for Dion Glover, who is out for the season with his fractured foot, RealGM learned Monday night.

The Hawks now have four players lost for the season, Glover, Chris Crawford, Emanual Davis, and Theo Ratliff.

To be eligible for the exception, Glover must miss three games, of which Monday?s game against Memphis was the second.

Should the Hawks be granted the exception, it is believed that Leon Smith, who is still in Atlanta, would be brought in for the remainder of the year.
