Deep in the heart of Texas, the Raptors find themselves in deep, deep trouble.

And just when you thought the team couldn't possibly slide any further into the abyss, last night's painful 112-109 loss to the host Rockets showed that the Raptors have yet to hit rock bottom.

Despite a season-tying 43-point night by Vince Carter, the Raptors couldn't hold on to a 17-point lead and lost for the 12th time in succession to tie the second-longest losing streak in team history.

They couldn't defend the perimeter and when they had a chance to blow out the Rockets, the Raptors failed.
