Raptors star Vince Carter left the game with 7:38 remaining in the third quarter when Pat Garrity's elbow hit Carter's nose on a three-pointer.
Carter lay on the floor motionless for a few minutes, was helped to the bench and later taken inside the locker room. He returned with 9:01 remaining in their game against the Orlando Magic.
"I just wanted to try to finish the game and do what I could," Carter said. "It wasn't much. I was dizzy."
Carter ended the game with a team-high 16 points in 35 minutes but he wasn't a factor.
"It (Carter's injury) definitely took away some momentum," Jerome Williams said. "At the same time you cannot use that as an excuse. There is plenty of game out there to play.''
