Jerry Stackhouse is hurting. His right hip. His left leg. He admits that with the way he's feeling, he isn't much help to the Pistons.
"I think right now the problem is things beyond our control," Stackhouse said Sunday after the Pistons' second straight loss, an 89-84 home setback to the Indiana Pacers.
"Right now I know I'm feeling terrible and I just have to try and get well. I can't help us feeling like I'm feeling right now. It's a good thing we have a couple of days off before we play again. Hopefully I can use tomorrow to heal and get treatment and come back and try and tighten some things up on Tuesday and get back after it on Wednesday (against Cleveland). There's no rest for the weary."
Stackhouse was 2-of-14 from the field and scored just seven points, dropping his scoring average to 21.9.
