CHICAGO -- Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Certainly, the Kings were not good Monday night at the United Center against the game but inexperienced Chicago Bulls.

But the Kings made plays down the stretch of a game that teetered on the brink of defeat and sneaked away with a 107-103 victory.

So it didn't matter how poorly they played or shot or defended during portions of the game. All that matters is that they are 2-0 on their five-game road trip.

Sacramento (45-17) improved its road mark to 15-14 despite allowing the young Bulls to shoot 50 percent from the field. Chicago (16-48) entered the game shooting only 42.5 percent on the season.
