Every time the sun shines on the Heat's rising fortunes, it seems a black cloud appears to rain on its hopes.

With the Phoenix Suns and Thunder Dan Majerle coming to AmericanAirlines Arena tonight, the cloud over the Heat concerns the condition of center Alonzo Mourning, who remained at home nursing the flu.

"We wore him down a little bit and he needs a little rest," Coach Pat Riley said. "His status is he'll play."

Mourning's kidney disease weakens his immune system, leaving him more susceptible to colds and viruses.
