Raptors backup point guard Chris Childs watched yesterday's game in street clothes, but he expects to return for Wednesday's game against the visiting Miami Heat.
Childs suffered a contusion in his pelvic area during Friday's game in Cleveland when the veteran dove into the Cavaliers' bench trying to retrieve a loose ball.
Without Childs, the Raptors went with Jermaine Jackson in the backcourt. Jackson gave Alvin Williams a much-needed break during the game and also teamed up with the club's incumbent in the backcourt in Toronto's 92-91 win over the Washington Wizards.
