NBA commissioner David Stern was in Toronto last night to attend the Raptors-Chicago Bulls game at the Air Canada Centre. Before the game Stern met with the media and discussed a wide variety of topics, among them the news that Michael Jordan of the Washington Wizards is going to miss the rest of the season because of a knee problem.
"I'm sorry that (Jordan) is injured," Stern said. "He's a great competitor and he demonstrated that he could come back and be a top-10 player, despite all the naysayers. I hope he's healthy for next season."
