DALLAS (AP) - Dallas guard Michael Finley didn't practice Thursday because of a back strain, but he is expected to be ready for Game 1 of the Mavericks playoff series in Sacramento on Saturday.
"I'm fine. I just tweaked it the other day," said Finley, who hurt his back in practice Wednesday.
Meanwhile, coach Don Nelson doesn't expect Adrian Griffin to be available Saturday because of back spasms. Griffin, who missed the last two games of the first-round sweep of Minnesota, sat out of Thursday's practice.
The Mavericks will travel to Sacramento on Friday morning and work out at Arco Arena, where they were the only opposing team to win twice this season.
