Ever since starring against the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals two years ago then being rewarded with a 7 year/ $53 million contract things have gone from bad to worse for Pacers forward Austin Croshere.  Croshere is due to speak with team president Donnie Walsh on Monday, a conversation that he is looking forward to reports Mark Montieth of the Indianapolis Star.

I haven't given it a lot of thought," Croshere said Friday. "Donnie's always been very good to me. We've always had conversations, as opposed to him saying, 'This is what I want.?  I'm sure this will go the same way?

Croshere has found himself behind Brad Miller, Jermaine O?Neal and Jeff Foster in the rotation, Foster?s development meaning that he is getting the majority of backup minutes at both power forward and center, causing Croshere?s minutes to drop even further.  But despite his struggles and obstacles in getting playing time Croshere still maintains he doesn?t want to be anywhere but Indiana.

Things may only get worse for him too, with Foster, Jonathan Bender and Ron Artest all eligible for contract extensions before next season and O'Neal, Brad Miller and Reggie Miller become free agents after the season.  This means the Pacers would have to fork out more money will having a player earning a starters wage stuck deep on the bench.

"I really feel like it's like forcing a square peg into a round hole," Croshere said. "I want the situation here to change, but in my gut I know it's not going to."
