With cowbells still ringing in their ears, the Mavericks were finally able to quiet the Sacramento Kings.

Steve Nash poured in 30 points and Raef LaFrentz showed some toughness as the Mavericks silenced the Kings 110-102 Monday night at Arco Arena in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals. With the victory, the Mavericks gained an important split of the opening two games on the road and evened this best-of-seven series at 1-1.

The series now shifts to American Airlines Center for Games 3 and 4 on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Game 5 will be here at Arco on Monday.

Nash riddled the Kings' porous defense for 12 field goals in 18 attempts and also dished out eight assists. He had nine of his points and three of his assists in the fourth quarter, when he took charge of the game.
