Elliot Teaford of the Los Angeles Times reports that the Clippers victory over the Pistons did not come without a price. The Clippers lost Quentin Richardson to a hyperextended right knee in the first half of their 74-72 win against Detroit. His status is unknown for the Clippers next game Wednesday night in Philadelphia.

Richardson was sidelined for much of the pre-season with a sprained right knee. Richardson had started the first two regular season games at the shooting guard position, but came off the bench in the win against the Pistons.

"We don't know what his status is right now," Coach Alvin Gentry said.
