Frank Hughes of the News Tribune reports that Kenny Anderson may have to start taking care of number one. After playing only six minutes in the Sonics? 84-82 win over Miami on Saturday, Anderson complained of back spasms.

Back spasms kept him out of the first two games of the season and Anderson suggested he may miss more time.

"I think I am going to start to worry about myself and I am not going to worry about playing or practicing," Anderson said. "I will take it day-by-day and see how I feel. But it is a tough situation to be in when I don't know how many minutes I am going to play."

Sonics coach Nate McMillan said he benched Anderson because of the back spasms, but he also said that the second unit, which Anderson leads, have not been producing the way it should. He continues to tweak his substitution patterns.

"I'm still trying to tweak our rotation to see how we can keep a balance of scoring and defending in that lineup," McMillan said. "That is going to take some time because of the kind of guys we have."
