Brad Weinstein of the San Francisco Chronicle reports: Warriors guard Earl Boykins has been playing hurt.

Before Friday's game against the Houston Rockets, Boykins admitted that he had  torn ligaments in one hand and sprained ligaments in the other.

He conceded that the injuries were effecting his play on offense and he would probably not be playing if the Warriors weren't in a playoff race.

"The thing is, when I'm out there running around and just playing defense, I'm fine," Boykins said. "It's more on the offensive end."

Boykins hopes to play the final month of the regular season and will then need six-to-eight weeks of rest for his injuries to heal.
