For once, Richard Jefferson seemed speechless.
The Nets forward was stunned yesterday when told he will be added to the 2004 U.S. Olympic basketball team.

"I highly doubt it. It would be a dream come true, but I highly doubt it. My goal is to be on the 2008 team," said Jefferson, responding to a report in yesterday's late editions of The Post. "It would be an honor to play, but honestly, my goal is to try to make the 2008 team. If the opportunity came I'd love to, but I highly doubt it."
