Sonics coach McMillan said surgery is unlikely for Keith Booth's injured knee, which was discovered during a medical examination of the backup center after the season.

McMillan doesn't believe the torn meniscus hindered Booth's performance, and the coach expects Booth to recover this summer.

"It may have bothered him, but he never complained or brought it to our attention," McMillan said. "More than anything, I just had trouble divvying up minutes between the guys. ... I think Calvin is a player; he just didn't have a chance to show that."
