Kevin O'Neill is probably going to get thrown out of a few games; he's unquestionably going to lose his temper every now and then. He's going to be hard and direct and everyone is going to know precisely what is expected of them.
But all that emotion and intensity and willingness to say what's needed rather than what's expected is to achieve one simple goal: Winning.
The new Raptor head coach arrived in town yesterday with a passion for his job, a work ethic perhaps unrivalled in franchise history and one difficult task: Take over an NBA team for the first time in his life and turn it from a laughingstock into some resembling a title contender.
"The only thing I'm going to ask our players is that we all ? players and coaches ? be accountable to one thing: Winning," he said yesterday. "Doing whatever's best that night to help us win."
