Terry Stotts and Mike Woodson are expected to interview this week for the Milwaukee Bucks coaching position, as general manager Larry Harris earnestly begins his search for the successor to George Karl.
Stotts, the interim coach of the Atlanta Hawks and former Bucks assistant, will interview in Milwaukee either today or tomorrow, according to a National Basketball Association source.
Another source indicated that Woodson, the former Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Bucks assistant, likely would be interviewed toward the end of the week.
Bucks assistant Don Newman and Sacramento Kings assistant Terry Porter also are expected to be considered for the position, although it could not be confirmed on Tuesday if they would be interviewed.
Stotts, who replaced Lon Kruger as coach of the Hawks last December, is in the delicate position of being considered for both the Hawks and Bucks jobs. But he will not know his status with Atlanta until AOL Time Warner completes its sale of the Hawks to businessman David McDavid, a long-awaited transaction that could occur soon.
