The Eagle County courts stopped some material pertaining to the Kobe Bryant case from being released publicly Wednesday, even as other documents were unsealed.

A judge denied a request by the Vail Daily newspaper to release dispatch records pertaining to two non-criminal emergency response calls to the home of Bryant's accuser in the past year.

The court noted that Eagle County Police Chief Gary Ward believes the incident reports "may very well have some relevance to the ongoing investigation of the alleged sexual assault."

Bryant, 25, a Laker guard, is accused of raping a 19-year-old Eagle woman at an Edwards, Colo., resort on June 30. Bryant says the sex was consensual and is free on a $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Oct. 9.

Among the documents released Wednesday was the arrest warrant, which offered few details about the case and virtually nothing that has not already been reported.
