Nuggets GM Kiki Vandeweghe said the Nuggets still are having contract talks with Denver free-agent forward Chris Andersen's agent, Marc Fleisher, and a decision is expected this weekend. Fleisher said the 6-10, 220-pounder has interest from other NBA teams. The athletic Andersen averaged 5.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.02 blocked shots in 59 games last season. With or without Andersen, the Nuggets may invite New York Knicks free-agent center-forward Mark Pope to camp.
