_ Zach Randolph, Trail Blazers, had 28 points and 14 rebounds as Portland rallied for a 112-110 overtime victory over Sacramento.

_ Antoine Walker, Mavericks, had 17 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists in leading Dallas to a 97-86 win over Houston.

_ Latrell Sprewell, Timberwolves, forced overtime with a 3-pointer, then scored four points in the extra period as Minnesota topped Chicago 92-89.

RALLY

Portland came back from a 24-point deficit and improved to 5-1 at home with a 112-110 overtime victory over Sacramento on Thursday night. The Trail Blazers did not lead in the game until overtime.

BRAGGING RIGHTS

Dallas has won five straight and nine of 11 over instate rival Houston after a 97-86 win Thursday night. Last season, the Mavericks swept all four games in the season series for the first time.

EXTENDED

Portland Trail Blazers coach Maurice Cheeks agreed to a one-year contract extension Thursday. Terms of the deal, which runs through next season, were not released. Cheeks is in his third season with the team.

WELCOME BACK

Forward Dan Langhi re-signed Thursday with injury-plagued Golden State, which received a special roster exemption to sign a 16th player. Langhi appeared in four games with the Warriors before being waived last Saturday. The Warriors have the maximum three players on injured reserve and have three injured players on their active roster.
