Once Bulls guard Jamal Crawford was able to digest everything Saturday night, he came to a realization.

"I'm going to be here for a while,'' he said.

That's never a guarantee given John Paxson's willingness to deal, but for the time being, Crawford will play a larger role as he will be expected to fill some of the scoring void created by the trade of Jalen Rose.

"[The trade] takes away scoring and puts some pressure on some guys like Jamal,'' Paxson said. "It helps him a lot, and it gives him the opportunity to score, which he can do.

"Jamal will see a lot of time at shooting guard.''
