PHILADELPHIA (AP) Donyell Marshall scored a season-high 27 points and Jalen Rose had eight assists in their Toronto debuts to help the Raptors beat Philadelphia 95-88 on Tuesday night.

Vince Carter added 21 points and a career-high 12 assists as the Raptors, averaging only 78 points _ reached 90 points for just the fourth time this season.

One day after finalizing a six-player trade that brought Marshall, Rose and Lonny Baxter from Chicago, Toronto led most of the way and had one of its highest shooting percentages of the season _ 47.2 percent _ while scoring at least 20 points in each quarter for the first time this season.

Allen Iverson led Philadelphia with 35 points. He shot just 8-for-32 from the field and was 18-for-23 from the line. He also had seven assists and seven rebounds.

Hornets 100, Magic 91

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Baron Davis Davis 21 points and 11 assists and New Orleans sent Orlando to its 16th straight loss.

The teams play again in New Orleans on Wednesday night, and another Magic loss will match the franchise record for futility. Orlando lost 17 straight in 1991-92.

David Wesley added 17 points for the Hornets. Rookie David West had season bests of 14 points and 11 rebounds and P.J. Brown added 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Gordan Giricek led Orlando with a season-high 23 points. Tracy McGrady had a season-high 15 rebounds, but shot 6-for-19 for 16 points.
