Stoudemire sprained his left ankle with 3:20 left in the second quarter. He was taken for X-rays and did not return.

Orlando's team-record losing streak reached 18 games Friday night when the Magic fell to San Antonio 105-94. ... With their 86-67 win over the Los Angeles Clippers, Utah improved to 10-1 at home this season. The Clippers have won just once in Salt Lake City since the Delta Center opened in 1991.

Karl Malone will not play Sunday against his former team, the Utah Jazz, after being suspended for one game by the NBA for elbowing Dallas guard Steve Nash in the head. The penalty was announced Friday by NBA vice president Stu Jackson after he reviewed videotape of Malone's thrown elbow, which came in the Lakers' 114-103 victory on Thursday night.
