COMEBACK
Antonio McDyess scored a season-high 15 points against the team that traded him nearly 18 months ago, leading New York past Denver 95-88 Saturday night. McDyess made his first start since March of 2002, replacing Kurt Thomas. McDyess, playing his seventh game since coming back from a knee injury, scored seven points in the final four minutes to win for the first time with the Knicks.

LeBron James scored a season-high 37 points, but Cleveland lost 105-98 to Boston on Saturday night. ... Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 35 points in a 112-108 loss at Portland. Minnesota signed journeyman center Oliver Miller on Saturday and placed Michael Olowokandi on the injured list while he recovers from surgery on his right knee. Miller averaged 7.9 points and 6.2 rebounds in an eight-year career that included stops in Detroit, Toronto, Dallas, Sacramento and Phoenix. The 6-foot-9, 315-pound center, spent the past two-plus seasons in the CBA.
