INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Jermaine O'Neal had 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to help the Indiana Pacers send LeBron James and the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers to their 34th consecutive road loss, 95-85 Monday night.

The Cavaliers dressed only nine players after completing a six-player trade that sent Ricky Davis to the Boston Celtics earlier in the day.

James had 27 points, six assists, three steals and three blocks, but Cleveland's road woes continued. The Cavs' losing streak is tied with New Jersey's streak in the 1989-90 and 1990-91 campaigns for the second-longest in NBA history. Sacramento's 43-game streak in the 1990-91 and 1991-92 seasons is the longest.

Five Pacers scored in double figures, including 16 points and seven assists from Ron Artest.

Timberwolves 116, Celtics 95

BOSTON (AP) Sam Cassell had 27 points and nine assists and Kevin Garnett added 27 and 12 rebounds as Minnesota won its fifth straight on the road.

The win snapped Minnesota's three-game losing streak against the Celtics and also ended Boston's season-high five-game winning streak.

Paul Pierce finished with 15 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds to lead the Celtics. Walter McCarty added 17.

Boston was without three players after making a trade with Cleveland prior to the game that sent Eric Williams, Tony Battie and Kedrick Brown to the Cavaliers for Ricky Davis, Chris Mihm and Michael Stewart.

Mavericks 111, Raptors 94

DALLAS (AP) Antoine Walker scored 27 points and Steve Nash had 23 points and 11 assists to help Dallas coach Don Nelson move into sole possession of second place on the all-time victory list.

Nelson, who reached another milestone with his 3,000th NBA game as a coach and player, has 1,111 coaching victories _ one more than Pat Riley.

Former Raptors coach Lenny Wilkens leads with 1,292 victories.

Antawn Jamison had 23 points, Dirk Nowitzki added 14 and rookie Josh Howard had 14 points and 14 rebounds as the Mavericks improved to 12-1 at home.

Rookie Chris Bosh, making his NBA debut in his hometown, had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Raptors, who lost their third straight. Vince Carter added 21.

Spurs 78, Grizzlies 67

SAN ANTONIO (AP) Tim Duncan had 21 points and 13 rebounds for his league-leading 20th double-double and the San Antonio Spurs held Memphis scoreless over the final 6:02.

Tony Parker added 18 points for the Spurs, who won their seventh straight. Rasho Nesterovic added 10 and tied a career-high with 15 rebounds.

Lorenzen Wright scored six points during an 8-0 spurt that brought the Grizzlies within 72-67 with 6:02 left but Memphis wouldn't score again.

Bonzi Wells led Memphis with 12 points, but had a breakaway layup blocked by Bruce Bowen to prolong the Grizzlies' drought. James Posey, Pau Gasol and Stromile Swift each had 10.
