Dallas coach Don Nelson moved into sole possession of second place on the all-time victory list with the Mavericks' 111-94 win over the Toronto Raptors on Monday night. Nelson, who reached another milestone with his 3,000th NBA game as a coach and player, has 1,111 coaching victories _ one more than Pat Riley. Former Raptors coach Lenny Wilkens leads with 1,268 victories.

ROAD DOGS

Cleveland lost its 34th road game in a row, falling 95-85 to Indiana on Monday night. The Cavaliers had only nine players in uniform after completing a six-player trade with the Boston Celtics earlier in the day.

The San Antonio Spurs held Memphis scoreless over the final 6:02 in beating the Grizzlies 78-67 on Monday night.

SWAP

Cleveland sent guard Ricky Davis, and forwards Chris Mihm and Michael Stewart to Boston on Monday for forwards Eric Williams, Tony Battie and center Kedrick Brown. The Cavaliers also gave the Celtics back a second-round pick they received from Boston in a trade last summer.
