Detroit reached 90 points for the first time this month, beating Utah 96-75 on Sunday night. The Pistons' 54.5 percent shooting marked just the second time this season they've made more than half their shots.

Portland remained the league's only winless road team, losing to Sacramento 117-98 Sunday night and falling to 0-9 away from home. The Kings improved to 14-1 at home this season. The Blazers were one of just five opponents to win at Arco Arena last season.

Phoenix lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 107-101 on Sunday night, falling to 10-18 on the season. The Suns are the only Western Conference team more than one game below .500, but they have more wins than five Eastern Conference teams and the same number as two others.
