SEATTLE (AP) Three-time All-Star Ray Allen was activated Tuesday after missing the Seattle SuperSonics' first 25 games because of arthroscopic surgery Nov. 1 to remove a bone chip from his right ankle.

The shooting guard was scheduled to play at home Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns.

The Sonics placed forward Ansu Sesay on the injured list with a sprained left ring finger.

The 28-year-old Allen averaged 24.5 points in 29 games with the Sonics last season after being acquired in a trade with Milwaukee that sent Gary Payton to the Bucks. In seven NBA seasons, Allen is averaging 19.9 points.

Allen was an All-Star in three seasons with Milwaukee.

The 6-foot-9 Sesay is averaging 3.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in 23 games this season.
