SHOUTING SPREE
Minnesota's Latrell Sprewell made a lot of noise in his return to Madison Square Garden, cursing at the Knicks' owner, screaming at their bench, and scoring 31 points in between the yells and taunts in a 98-92 win Tuesday night. Sprewell saved his biggest outbursts for the end, turning to James Dolan, chairman of the Knicks' corporate owner, and unleashing a stream of curses after his 3-pointer gave Minnesota a 94-89 lead with 1:14 left.
TECHNICALS
Six technical fouls were called in the Kings' 114-97 victory over the Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Memphis was charged with five technicals, while Sacramento logged one. Memphis' James Posey earned two and was ejected with 11.7 seconds left.
STRONG IN DEFEAT
Detroit's Ben Wallace had 16 points and 20 rebounds in an 83-78 loss to Milwaukee on Tuesday night. ... The Clippers' Elton Brand had 22 points and 13 rebounds in a 111-90 loss to San Antonio. ... New York's Allan Houston scored 26 points in a 98-92 loss to Minnesota.

With their 97-86 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers have won three in a row for the first time since April 6-10, 2002, a span of 113 games.
THE HEAT IS ON
Miami's Dwyane Wade has scored 20 or more points in each of his last six games. Wade scored 20 points in the Heat's 79-73 victory over Washington on Tuesday night.
