INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Jason Kidd's 56th career triple-double came one night after his 55th.

Kidd had 16 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds for his NBA-leading sixth triple-double of the season, and the New Jersey Nets withstood a fourth-quarter rally.

Kenyon Martin added 23 points and 13 rebounds for the surging Nets, who won for the ninth time in 11 games.

The Eastern Conference-leading Pacers looked disinterested for three-and-a-half quarters and lost their second game in a row for the first time this season.

Mavericks 104, Grizzlies 98

DALLAS (AP) Michael Finley scored 24 points, including a key 3-pointer and another long jumper in the closing minutes, and Dirk Nowitzki had 18 points and 17 rebounds.

The Grizzlies got a scare when 70-year-old coach Hubie Brown needed medical attention during a timeout with 4:51 left. He recovered quickly and remained on the bench the rest of the game.

Coming off a Christmas victory at Sacramento, the Mavs avenged a loss at Memphis earlier this season.

The Grizzlies have lost five straight, adding to what already was their longest skid this season.

Bulls 100, Wizards 86

CHICAGO (AP) Jamal Crawford made five 3-pointers and scored a career-high 42 points.

Coming off a 30-point performance at Cleveland on Friday, Crawford outdid himself. He was 16-for-27 from the floor and 5-for-7 from 3-point range. Prior to Friday, Crawford shot just 14-for-54 in the previous three games.

Chicago started to pull away late in the third quarter, using a 12-2 run to turn a 61-60 deficit into a nine-point lead. Crawford scored nine of Chicago's 12 points.

Crawford hit a jumper to give the Bulls a 71-63 lead at the end of the third quarter, then extended Chicago's lead with a 3-pointer to make it 82-64.

Larry Hughes had 22 points for Washington and Etan Thomas added 10.
