SAN ANTONIO (AP) Tim Duncan attempted San Antonio's first eight free throws and missed them all. By the end of the afternoon, the Spurs had clanged away their 13-game winning streak.
After struggling from the line in the first half, the Spurs managed just nine baskets in the second half Saturday and lost 83-77 to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Eric Snow scored 18 of his 20 points and Derrick Coleman had 12 of his season-high 20 points in the second half for Philadelphia, which was playing its 10th straight game without top scorer Allen Iverson (bruised right knee).
San Antonio's unbeaten streak dated to early December and was the longest in the NBA this season. The Sixers snapped a four-game road losing streak and earned their first victory in San Antonio since Jan. 6, 1986.
Kings 116, Clippers 109
LOS ANGELES (AP) Mike Bibby scored 23 points, Doug Christie had a season-high 22 on 10-for-12 shooting to help the Kings beat the Clippers for the 16th time in their last 21 meetings. Peja Stojakovic, the NBA's second-leading scorer, finished with 21.
Predrag Drobnjak scored 22 points for the Clippers, who played the final 17:40 without starting point guard Marko Jaric after he sprained his left foot. Corey Maggette and Quentin Richardson each had 21 points and Elton Brand had 19, but it wasn't enough to prevent Sacramento's 18th victory in 22 games.
Brand's tip-in of Maggette's missed layup with 2:41 remaining gave the Clippers a 103-102 lead, their first since the opening minute of the third quarter. But Stojakovic's 3-pointer put the Kings back in front, and Christie found Brad Miller for a backdoor layup and a 108-105 edge with 1:26 left.
Bibby clinched it with six foul shots in the final 59 seconds.
