TORONTO (AP) Vince Carter scored 23 points and Donyell Marshall finished with 15 points and 15 rebounds, leading the Toronto Raptors to an 83-73 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

Jalen Rose added 16 points and five assists for the Raptors, who have won three of four and improved to 9-7 since acquiring Rose and Marshall from Chicago in late November. Alvin Williams added 13 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

Phoenix's Stephon Marbury scored 17 points on 5-for-17 shooting, and Shawn Marion had 11 points and 14 rebounds.

The Suns are 4-12 since Amare Stoudemire, last season's Rookie of the Year, went on the injured list Dec. 6 with a sprained left ankle.

Toronto rookie center Chris Bosh scored six points on 1-for-9 shooting before leaving the game with five minutes left due to a sprained right shoulder.

Bucks 100, Wizards 94

WASHINGTON (AP) Michael Redd scored 18 of his 27 points in the second half to lead Milwaukee over Washington.

Tim Thomas added 23 points for the Bucks, who followed Friday's big home win over Dallas by breaking a three-game road losing streak.

Kwame Brown scored a career-high 23 points and had 11 rebounds for the Wizards, but 18 of his points came in a 10-minute stretch in the first half. Brown missed a follow-up dunk off a missed shot that would have cut the lead to one in the final 90 seconds.

Gilbert Arenas, who didn't start, scored 18 points for the Wizards but was called for a technical for arguing a foul call with one minute to play, costing Washington another vital point.

The Wizards have lost six of their last seven.

Nets 95, Knicks 85

NEW YORK (AP) Jason Kidd dominated the fourth quarter, scoring 19 of his season-high 35 points and engineering a 17-2 run.

Dikembe Mutombo tied a Knicks record with 10 blocked shots.

New Jersey won its fourth straight and for the 12th time in 15 games, defeating the Knicks for the 10th time in their last 11 meetings.

Kidd finished with 13 assists and seven rebounds. He went to the free throw line 13 times _ six more than the entire Knicks team _ and made 12.

Van Horn led the Knicks with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Kings 130, SuperSonics 99

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Peja Stojakovic hit six 3-pointers among his 24 points, and Bobby Jackson had 21 points and seven assists for Sacramento.

Brad Miller had 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Kings, who improved the NBA's best record to 23-8 with a blowout win. Sacramento, the NBA's highest-scoring team, had its highest-scoring game of the season and its biggest margin of victory ever over Seattle, surpassing a 29-point win last season.

Rashard Lewis scored 18 points for the Sonics, mostly lifeless two nights after beating the Los Angeles Lakers.

Clippers 101, Lakers 98

LOS ANGELES (AP) Elton Brand had 30 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and five blocked shots to lead the Clippers over the short-handed Lakers.

Despite season highs of 44 points and 10 rebounds by Kobe Bryant, the Lakers sustained just their third loss in the last 26 games between the crosstown rivals.

The Lakers played without Shaquille O'Neal, out with a strained right calf, and Karl Malone. He was placed on the injured list for the first time in his 19-year career with a knee injury.
