HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) Rashaun Banjo matched his career high with 28 points and added 10 rebounds to help Quinnipiac defeat Manhattanville 94-57 on Monday night.

It was the largest margin of victory for Quinnipiac since Dec. 3, 1975, when the team beat Framingham State 91-48. The Bobcats (3-8) claimed their first home win of the season and snapped a five-game losing streak.

Quinnipiac put the game out of reach in the first half with a 35-6 run over a 10-minute span. The Bobcats held the Valiants (5-4) to just 24-percent shooting from the field.

Farid Johnson led Manhattanville with 22 points and nine rebounds.
