SEATTLE (AP) Seattle's Ray Allen scored a season-high 42 points, including seven in overtime, to help the SuperSonics overcome a 23-point deficit and defeat Portland.
The Trail Blazers led 87-69 after the third quarter but Allen scored 20 points in the fourth to help send the game to overtime.
Jerome James added five points in the extra period for the Super Sonics.
Allen, in only his seventh game back after 25 games on the injured list after having bone spurs removed from his right ankle, was 16-for-27 from the field, dished out eight assists, and pulled down six rebounds.
Allen had given the Sonics a 104-102 lead when he hit a 3-pointer with 19.7 seconds left. Damon Stoudamire sent the game into overtime with a 22-footer with 1.1 seconds left.
Zach Randolph led Portland with 28 points, while Stoudamire added 22.
