SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Coach Jerry Sloan returned to the Utah Jazz on Tuesday after missing one game to be with his ailing wife.
Bobbye Sloan, treated for breast cancer five years ago, was sick for several weeks with flulike symptoms. Jerry Sloan said Tuesday his wife is undergoing tests.
Utah beat Dallas 108-94 Monday with assistant Phil Johnson guiding the Jazz.
``Jerry will always tell you, 'Family is first.' Last night, it was,'' said center Greg Ostertag, who missed part of the 2002 preseason after donating a kidney to his sister.
Sloan expects to coach the Jazz on Wednesday night against visiting Memphis.
