REDD LETTER DAY
Michael Redd scored 32 of his career-high 40 points in the second half in Milwaukee's 113-102 victory over Orlando on Wednesday night. Redd had a three-point play with 47 seconds left, made his final 10 shots and was 12-of-15 in the second half.
SWAP
Forward Darius Miles, fined by Cleveland for skipping a practice earlier this week, was traded Wednesday to Portland for guard Jeff McInnis and center Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje. Miles was a major disappointment in 1{ seasons with Cleveland, which acquired him before last season in a deal that sent guard Andre Miller to the Los Angeles Clippers.
GROWING IN SIZE
The New York Knicks signed center Bruno Sundov to a 10-day contract Wednesday and placed forward Michael Sweetney on the injured list with left patella tendinitis. The 7-foot-2 Sundov averaged 2.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 7.3 minutes in four games with Cleveland before being waived Jan. 15.

LeBron James shot baskets during practice Wednesday, but coach Paul Silas said the Cavaliers rookie isn't ready to play and will likely miss his second straight game Thursday due to a sprained right ankle.
