PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) The Chicago Bulls activated Tyson Chandler before Saturday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers and placed Chris Jefferies on the injured list with a sprained right ankle.

Chandler, a 7-foot-1 forward-center, has been out since Nov. 25 with a bad back. He was averaging 13 points and 10.3 rebounds in 14 games before getting hurt.

Jefferies was averaging 3.5 points and 6.3 minutes a game. He scored 12 points in a 101-81 loss to Golden State on Friday.

Chandler did not start against the Blazers.
