The All-Star teams combined to miss half their free throws, going 16-of-32, as the West beat the East 136-132 on Sunday. The East went 11-of-22 from the line, while the West was 5-of-10.

After Sunday's 136-132 victory, the West has won four of the last five All-Star games after losing three straight.

New York acquired forward Tim Thomas from Milwaukee in a three-way deal that also involved Atlanta. The Knicks sent Keith Van Horn to the Bucks and received center Nazr Mohammed from Atlanta, while the Hawks acquired Michael Doleac from the Knicks and Joel Przybilla from Milwaukee. New York also sent a 2005 second-round draft pick to Atlanta.

STRONG IN DEFEAT

Jamaal Magloire led the East with 19 points in his first All-Star appearance, a 136-132 loss to the West on Sunday night. Jason Kidd had a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists.
