ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Peja Stojakovic scored 12 of his 28 points in the third quarter, and the Sacramento Kings shook off their early sluggishness to defeat the Magic.
Mike Bibby had 26 points, while Brad Miller added 22 with 12 rebounds. Sacramento, the NBA leader in assists, had 30 on 38 field goals. The Kings also made all 24 of their foul shots.
Coming out of the break, Stojakovic and Christie hit consecutive 3-pointers to start a run of 12 unanswered points. Orlando got the deficit down to four points, but Sacramento went on a 14-4 run and the Magic never got back within single digits.
Celtics 80, Timberwolves 77
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Jiri Welsch scored 18 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, to lead Boston to its fifth consecutive victory.
Chris Mihm had 11 points and eight rebounds off the bench and Chucky Atkins added 12 points for Boston, which has won five straight after losing 12 of its first 13 games under interim head coach John Carroll.
Kevin Garnett had 20 points and 14 rebounds and Michael Olowokandi added his first double-double of the season, but Minnesota lost consecutive games for just the third time this season.
Boston's reserves scored 35 points on a poor shooting night for both teams. The Celtics shot 33 percent, and Minnesota made just 35.9 percent of its attempts.
